Gloss red lipsticks

Red lipsticks are saturated shades from the core red band of the colour wheel, from bright poppy and cherry to deep wine. Undertone sets the character of a red: blue-leaning reds look crisp and slightly cool, while reds that lean towards orange look warmer and brighter. Depth matters as much as hue, since a deep red reads far stronger than a light one. A gloss finish is shiny and wet-looking, and colour payoff ranges from sheer to intense depending on the formula. A sheer gloss can read lighter and more translucent on the lips than its hex value, while a pigmented gloss stays close to it and adds strong shine.
