Matte orange lipsticks

Orange lipsticks are saturated shades between red and yellow, from tangerine and burnt orange to terracotta and rust. They are the warmest family on the lips. A red-orange reads bold and bright, a deeper orange reads closer to terracotta or rust, and lighter oranges move towards coral and peach. A matte finish shows full, flat colour with no shine, so a matte shade reads on the lips very close to its hex value. With no gloss to catch the light, matte formulas make the colour itself the whole effect, and they tend to emphasise the outline of the lips.
